- I've worked as some type of an accountant since 1990. That is a long time. I just recently started a new job, well a year ago. It is actually my first real accounting job since I left public accounting back in 1992! My sisters teach but I never had the ability to put up with other people's kids for that many hours in a day! ha ha..... I did coach rec league soccer for a few years. Actually had a very good team. Then the boys/girls out grew my coaching ability.
